ich finde mezmerize etwas abwechslungsreicher (nur ein gaaanz kleines bisschen) und auch wenns nur eine halbe stunde is ist es doch von der qualität etwas konstanter

Also ich könnte jetzt nich sagen, welches von den Alben mir am besten gefällt. Ich finde jedes Album hat ein paar saugeile Lieder und ein paar weniger gute. Wenn man sich von jedem album so ein paar Lieder rauspickt hat man glaube ich die beste Kombination. Sehr gut gefallen mir nach wie vor auch die Live Konzerte von Soad. Für mich ist Soad eine der besten Bands, die es momentan gibt^^

Dieser "Rückschritt" von Mezmerize zu Hypnotize kann nich gehn, da die Alben/Songs gleichzeitig aufgenommen wurden und nur versetzt rausgekommen sind. insofern kann es natürlich sein, dass wem Mezmerize mehr gefällt weil die songs ihm mehr zusagen aber von Rückentwicklung keine Spur. dann war da noch was ... Moment
AJO: Ich fand die MTV-Ansage zum Konzert/Tour recht passend: "Die Alternative-Band, die Genre-Grenzen in Schutt und Asche legt ...!" insofern sag ich dazu nur: Old School Hollywood
und noch ein Schlusswort: Chop Suey ist das GEILSTE

Das Lied ist genial, zu spielen geht es auch nicht schwer.
Die meisten Lieder von SoaD sind eigentlich sehr gut

"But people can call it whatever they want. We know what it is, and we're comfortable with that. If we were breaking up, we wouldn't be able to get onstage together on this tour."
"It's going to be another band that both me and Shavo are in, and we're going to try and go places we haven't with System," Malakian explained to mtv.com. "Each [System] bandmember has his own thing he wants to do. Shavo has films he plans on working on too. So we all have artistic itches we want to get through, and I think these are healthy ways to do it. We've been around for 12 years, so it's nice for us to break a little free and come back and hopefully appreciate [being in System] more someday. We're not putting any timelines on it.
Also scheinen sie alles in allem eine Pause einzulegen und die meisten kümmern sich für eine Weile um ihren eigenen Kram, doch sie hören nicht auf sondern werden irgendwann in Zukunft auch wieder weitermachen.

nach langen überlegungen hab ich mich jetzt mal dazu durchgerungen "steal this album" zu kaufen... ich muss sagen es hat sich gelohnt! SoaD ist einfach geil!
