    Hallo Forenmitglieder,

    hiermit möchten wir die Suche nach Einstellungen für Konfigurationsdateien (Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPref.in) auf einen Thread konzentrieren, da es in den einzelnen Suchthreads immer wieder zu Überschneidungen kommt.

    Die Konfigurationsdateien findet ihr unter ../Eigene Dokumente/My Games/Skyrim/.

    Falls ihr Fragen zu dem Konfigurationsdateien habt oder Probleme mit den Konfigurationsdateien habt, stellt eure Anfrage in diesem Thread.

    Ich werde im Folgenden die Bedeutungen der einzelnen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten nach und nach ergänzen. Wenn noch Einstellungsmöglichkeiten fehlen könnt ihr mir das gerne mitteilen.

    Frage: wie erhöht man die Distanz LOD ?

    Hallo, Ich hab ein frage bezüglich der Distanz detail sicht.

    Ich hab bei mir alle Sichtweiten auf max und die restlichen Einstellung auch, das Spiel läuft mit ca. 50 fps im offenen Gelände super aber wenn man zb. in weitläufige Gebiete kommt gibt es nach ca. 100m einen unschönen Übergang bei der Texturqualität die dann beim laufen nach und nach aufpopt.

    Gibt es die Möglichkeit das aufpopen der detalierten Bäume,Mauern usw. zu vermeiden indem man die Lod Distanz hochsetzt?

    Es gibt zwar im Bethesda Forum einen Post in dem einige ini Einstellungen beschrieben sind die für lod details und schatten usw. zuständig sind , aber wenn ich dort die Werte erhöhe tut sich bei mir garnix.:huh:

    Das Problem ist mir bereits aus Oblivion bekannt und dort gibt es soweit ich weis nur die möglichkeit die Distanz lod Texturen gegen höher aufgelöste auszutauschen ist das bei Skyrim auch so?

    Ich hoffe hier im Forum sind ein paar Leute unterwegs die sich damit auskennen.:)

    Die Werte geben an wie viele Exterior- bzw. Interiorzellen im Buffer halten werden. Da kann so weit ich weis jeder Wert größer als 0 hin.

    Das ist nicht egal.

    So wie im Eröffnungspost zu sehen, ist die Skyrim.ini noch nicht vollständig. Erst wenn man ingame in der Konsole refreshini eingibt, abspeichert und das Spiel beendet, wird die Skyrim.ini vollständig angezeigt.

    Ich habe so ein gewisses Problem mit den ganzen Änderungen an den .inis.
    das was sie bewirken sollen tuen sie auch, sieht auch toll aus, bzw. ist Performance-technisch kein Problem.
    Aber ich habe hin und wieder extreme Fraps-Einbrüche (50->5) nach einem Zellen-Wechsel.
    Im normalfall etwa einmal pro Stunde, aber mir scheint, je mehr ich an den inis ändere, desto häufiger passiert es. (Teilweise nach JEDEM Zellen-Wechsel!)

    Liegt das ein bestimmten Einträgen?

    Hier mein System.

    Versuch mal die iShadowMapResolutionSecondary auf die Hälfte des Wertes der iShadowMapResolutionPrimary zu setzen. Was anderes fällt mir nicht ein. Eigentlich sollte dein PC keine so große Probleme haben.

    Interessant wäre noch zu wissen, welche Hardware (CPU, RAM, Graka, Graka RAM) die Einstellungen primär belasten. Bei Oblivion wars bei mir so, dass eigentlich immer die CPU limitiert hat. So habe ich z.B. vermutet, dass Schattendarstellung massiv Last auf die CPU gegeben hat, da die fps nicht von der Bildschirmauflösung, sondern von der Einstellung der Schatten abhing.

    Viele Leute (wie z.B. ich) haben keinen ausgewogenen Rechner. Bei mir (i5-2500k, Radeon 5770 1 GB, 12 GB RAM) hat die CPU mehr Power als die Graka. Wäre klasse, wenn ich einfach die Features hochdrehen könnte, die Last auf CPU und Speicher geben und die grakalastigen Sachen so lasse, wie sie sind :)

    Von der Skyrimqualität bin ich schon ziemlich begeistert. Day 1 Release und ich hatte noch keinen Absturz und selten mal wirklich nur marginale Bugs.

    Ich muss mich korrigieren. Man muss den Befehl saveini eingeben, um die vollständige Skyrim.ini zu erhalten. Dadurch erhält man ein rotes Logo im Hauptmenü und rote Ladebildschirme. Ebenso sieht die Karte danach ein bisschen seltsam aus, jedoch muss man dazu nur ein paar Zeilen aus der neu erstellten *.ini löschen.

    Ich habe mal Videos auf Youtube gesehen wo die Kamera näher kommt als normal und die Dauer der Ansicht seines eigenen Todes höher gesetzt wurde.
    Sprich man sieht sich länger tot.

    Da wäre mir auch mal beinahe die ein oder andere witzige Situation passiert, wenn der nicht so schnell wieder geladen hätte.
